Taka Waka, born in 1999 in Meguro, Tokyo, has been profoundly influenced by skateboarding culture, captivated by its raw energy and creativity. After graduating high school, a move was made to Los Angeles, the heart of skateboarding, to study business, art, and photography at a local college. A career as both a painter and photographer was launched, with creative work continuing to evolve from Los Angeles. By blending the skateboarding and street culture embraced in America with the sharp sensibility developed in Tokyo, a unique artistic vision is relentlessly pursued.
